Todd DeLaughter, President and CEO

Todd DeLaughter, president and CEO of Opalis, brings an incredible track record for managing and growing a business through solid technology and strategic partnerships, as well as having a deep understanding of the IT Operations space. Prior to Opalis Todd was vice president and general manager of the $1B OpenView Business Unit at HP where his responsibility for strategy and business planning, acquisitions, strategic partner relationships, operations, solutions marketing, research and development all contributed to this business doubling in size during his tenure and achieving growth at two times the market rate. Before joining HP, he spent 18 years with Compaq leading and working in software teams.  In his most recent role with Compaq, he lived in Nice France where he led Compaq's telecom OSS business which became a product group under OpenView.

DeLaughter is a former advisory board member of the TeleManagement Forum and of NetMan, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based wholly owned HP company specializing in provisioning products and services for the network service provider market. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Houston.

George Kellar, Chief Operating Officer

George Kellar is the chief operating officer (COO) for Opalis. Mr. Kellar is responsible for managing daily operations across the company. He brings years of experience in producing significant business growth and expansion, improving marketing and sales operations, as well as increasing management effectiveness. A software industry veteran, Mr. Kellar has held executive positions at both public and private companies, including ASK Group/Ingres Corporation and Novadigm, a market leader in desktop and server configuration management that was acquired by HP in 2004.

 

Charles Crouchman, Chief Technology Officer

Charles Crouchman is the company's Chief Technology Officer. A respected leader within the enterprise systems management community, Mr. Crouchman is responsible for driving the product strategy and development direction for Opalis. Most recently, Mr. Crouchman was Senior Vice President of Development at CA Inc. where he was responsible for the Workload Automation product line which generated nearly $300M in annual revenue. Prior to CA Charles was a senior executive at Cybermation Inc. where he managed product development, product management, and business development and played an important role in helping the company to grow from an $8 million niche vendor to a $32 million best-of-breed vendor in the systems management market.

His extensive experience also includes key roles at Amdahl, the Bank of Montreal and the Mutual Group. Charles is a graduate of the University of Waterloo and resides in Toronto, Canada.

Gregory Twinney, Chief Financial Officer

Greg is a financial executive with over 12 years of experience working in senior financial roles. At Opalis he is responsible for all financial and administrative aspects of the company. Greg joined Opalis from Cyberplex (TSX: CX), a leading publicly-traded technology firm, where he spent five years as Corporate Controller. His expertise includes strategic planning and budgeting, financial controls, business development, performance analysis, and mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to Cyberplex, Greg held senior financial positions with Tokmakjian Limited, a privately-held global organization. Greg was responsible for all accounting and administrative aspects of the company's international division from its conception to $100 million in revenue in five years, becoming the leading, most profitable division in the organization.

Greg is a Certified General Accountant (CGA), has a Business Administration Diploma from Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology, and holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science Degree (BAccS) from the University of Calgary.

Yale Tankus, Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development

Yale Tankus is Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development. His responsibilities include corporate strategy, business planning and strategic partnerships. Yale brings with him 25 years of experience growing early stage, medium and large software companies through the creation of solutions businesses, innovative industry initiatives, OEM sales and strategic programs.

Prior to joining Opalis, Yale was Vice President of Partnerships and Alliances for the $1B HP OpenView Business Unit where he was responsible for strategic partnerships encompassing partner sales & marketing, solutions, engineering, program management and planning. Previously, Yale served in senior executive positions across the enterprise software domain with key management roles at webMethods as Vice President of Business Development, DataZen as co-founder and VP of World Wide Sales, Informix Software as Business Development Manager, Telecom BU, Kabira as Director North America Operations, Computer Associates as Regional Sales Manager and at IBM where he started his career as a sales assistant.

Thomas Siegel, Vice President of World Wide Sales

In his capacity as Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Tom brings almost two decades of experience in both enterprise and channel software sales, as well as extensive sales operations management to Opalis. Prior to Opalis, Tom was Vice President of Global Sales for Espial Inc., a leading provider of embedded software solutions to the IPTV industry. During his time at Espial, he restructured and rebuilt the sales organization, increased software revenues by over 300% in a few short years, and developed strategic partnerships with Siemens, Motorola and Sumitomo Electric.

Before Espial, at Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC), Tom started as a sale rep, Over his five year tenure, Tom was continually credited with the success in his regions and rapidly grew to District Manager (Boston), Regional, Director (Northeast), and then UK Area Vice President ($42m revenues), before running all of the Western region in North America ($55m revenues). Finally at PTC, Tom held the position of Senior VP of Sales Operations, where he led sales units in North America and Europe and operation units globally with a staff of over 120.

Tom holds an undergraduate degree in accountancy from Bentley College and an MBA from Babson College.
